The WOOD AND TOOLS FESTIVAL and its extensive accompanying programme have been part of the Roofs Prague and Craft Prague trade fairs since 2018.

Key activities within the terms of the Wood and Tools Festival

• News in regard to tools, instruments, technique and other craft, equipment, a wide range of tools of various brands
• Zone for carpenters with a range of demonstrations of modern and traditional carpentry techniques,
• Workshops and debates with celebrities in this field,
• Practical demonstrations of trades – roofers, sheet metal workers, carpenters, stonemasons, joiners…..,
• Historic exhibits presenting the principles and procedures of traditional construction,
• Competitions for visitors for quality prizes,
• Construction advisory centre with support from the Czech Chamber of Authorised Engineers and Technicians and the Czech Technical University in Prague,
• Lectures and seminars for experts and the general public
• Professional partners: the Guild of Sheet Metal Workers, Roofers and Carpenters of the Czech Republic, the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and Self-employed Persons of the Czech Republic
