veletrh 2026

The 27th annual ROOFS-SOLAR-CRAFT trade fair offered an exceptionally rich showcase of innovations and technologies in the field of roofs and building envelopes, the likes of which cannot be seen elsewhere in such a comprehensive form.

The trade fair was attended by the leading manufacturers and suppliers of roofing and construction products from both domestic and international brands. From February 12–14, 2026, over 140 companies presented their offerings here, while more than 140 additional firms showcased their products at the concurrent FOR PASIV and FOR WOOD events. The total exhibition area reached 15,000 m², offering visitors a truly comprehensive overview of the roofing industry and energy-efficient housing. The fair attracted over 22,000 visitors, who actively took advantage of the opportunity to discuss their construction plans not only at exhibitors’ booths but also at advisory centers, where experts provided consultations on construction, renovation, energy savings, and the use of renewable energy sources.

NEW PROJECTS AND TRADITIONAL CONFERENCES

The accompanying program focused on current issues, namely the steadily declining number of skilled tradespeople and the shortage of affordable housing. The new CRAFT DAYS – Craft in Action! workshop was very well received; it introduced the younger generation and the general public to the trades in an engaging and practical way, showcasing their modern forms and future prospects. The professional conference Forum on Affordable Housing was equally successful, addressing key topics including specific examples of affordable housing in the Czech Republic. Participants included representatives of cities and municipalities, housing cooperatives, industry professionals, and others interested in this current issue. The traditional Insulation conference focused this time on the theme “What Concerns Us Beyond Insulation: Practice, Risks, and Innovations.” The content covered everything from roofs and facades to building foundations, and from project preparation to the coordination of construction work. Discussions covered both the issues with certain materials and the shortcomings in the execution and coordination of construction work.

GOLDEN ROOF TILE 2026

In the Golden Roof Tile 2026 competition for the best exhibits at the trade fair, the expert jury awarded two Golden Roof Tile prizes and five honorable mentions.

The Golden Roof Tile awards went to the following companies:

  • ROTO střešní okna for the Roto Designo Heat roof window

This is a revolutionary solution in which the window features a heated layer integrated into the glazing, allowing for additional heating of the space during the winter months.

  • VELUX Česká republika for its Komfort roof windows with high insulation

The uniqueness of this window lies in the exceptional composition of the glass and the surface treatment of the outer pane, which is not only self-cleaning but also anti-condensation. The window also has the advantage of maintaining an affordable price point despite its premium features.

Honorable mentions were awarded to the following companies:

  • Betonpres for the Betonpres Horizont concrete roof tile

It features an extra-thin, elegant design with a subtle curve, which gives the tile greater strength and allows for a lighter roofing system.

  • FAKRO CZECH for the GREENVIEW FOP-X P50 + FO_ P50 terrace skylight

When opened, these large-format terrace skylights provide convenient access to a terrace or balcony.

  • Ruukki CZ for the Ruukki Classic LowCarbon roofing

The jury praised its minimal carbon footprint, which is up to 60% lower than that of other roofing materials made from conventional steel.

  • wienerberger for Wevolt X-Frame

This is a universal mounting technology for installing photovoltaic panels on sloped roofs. It allows photovoltaic panels to be installed between the roofing materials so that the panels minimally disrupt the appearance of the house. It is compatible with all common types of roofing materials as well as most photovoltaic panels on the market.

  • Zambelli – technik for the COLORDUR® Surface Finish

COLORDUR for gutter systems and coils combines a modern matte design with exceptional resistance to corrosion, UV radiation, and mechanical damage.
